Evolution of Skiing Party

The Wrap Shack hosted the Evolution of Skiing Party as a fund raiser for Storm Shadow Production's Park Film. People donned their best ski outfits from past eras, boogied down, and raised money. Storm Shadow also had ski films playing outside off the deck with a feature presentation of the classic cult ski movie Better Off Dead.

For details about the Big Sky Community Corporation and the Parks check out their website.

Dummy Jump 08

Big Sky Resort's 4th Annual Dummy Jump. We learned from our mistakes last year and created The Wrap Shack Super Employee ("Employee #7"). Wider, lower center-of-gravity, and much heavier.

Even with some with some miscommunication between the officials we were able launch off this year's tiny jump. But alas, Employee #7 let go just before takeoff, breaking every piece of his body (the mop bucket soared to record heights!).

Check photos from the competition at The Wrap Shack's Web Albums.

More Tacos!

We've expanded our Taco Menu! Now along with our addictive Ground Beef Tacos we've added Grilled Chicken & Steak Tacos. You can get either in a hard or soft shell with cheese, Shack Salsa, lettuce, and sour cream.

We've also added our extremely popular Double Decker Tacos to our everyday menu! All the fixins' of our Ground Beef Tacos with a soft shell lined with refried beans wrapped around a hard shell. Delicious!

For something completely different try our Fish Tacos! We put our baked Lemon-Peppered Battered Cod in a soft taco shell with cheese, shredded cabbage, Pico de Gallo, and our Zesty White Sauce. So good you'll have to get one every day!

Trans World Snowboarding Magazine

The Wrap Shack was listed in Trans World Snowboarding Magazine as the place to eat in Big Sky! The March '08 issue has a regional report about riding in Southwest Montana.
Every mountain town needs a good burrito joint, and the Wrap Shack is Big Sky's. It's owned by some of the nicest ski bums-turned-business owners in Big Sky and as their slogan touts, they "roll 'em fat." They also pour a mean margarita. Oh, and grab a couple of the raspberry bars or a slice of banana bread on the way up to the hill and you won't have to stop for lunch.
We couldn't agree more. Thanks Liam!
